THOUGHT you might have started this already!
I am on vacation and can read as much as i want! Well, except for all the yardwork and the quilting and the taxes and errands- STILL not enough time to read. sigh.

THE GIANT, O’BRIEN. – Hilary Mantel : i was uncomfortable with some of the implied anti-Irish attitude in this book, but it gradually became more interesting. Unfortunately, although it gave glimpses of an intriguing ending, the author’s way of handling it was to stop short and leave you wondering – not my favorite way of ending a book. (And i have no idea why she felt the need for punctuation in the title- any grammar scholars out there who can explain it?)
